When Facebook is enjoying the first position for being the most popular social networking site, Steve Wozniak, Apple’s co-founder wants us to delete our account. Know why?
Just like many other famous personalities Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple has gone against Facebook and its immensely growing popularity. He has urged others to delete their Facebook profile as well.
The major problem with Facebook cited by him is lack of privacy. At an interview given at Ronald Reagan International Airport, he urged others to find out a way to come out of Facebook. In the year 2018 Wozniak himself deleted his Facebook account a political research firm, Cambridge Analytica gathered information of nearly 87 million people using their Facebook Profile.
At the given interview he also showed his concern about mobile phone technology, as we ourselves don’t know if the cellphones are recording what we are talking about.
However, the CEO of Facebook Adam Mosseri, who is also the CEO of Instagram, confirmed that none of the apps is listening to our conversations and Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg has kept user’s privacy as the topmost priority.
Every individual expects privacy and they are ready to pay for it. This is the reason why Apple included Pro-privacy features for compensating against any kind of revenue loss. This is quite expensive but still, people prefer to do so rather than sharing their details to the advertisers.
