Android M Name
Google commonly names its Android versions after a sweet or a confection. If we take a look at the chronological order, we will see that the previous versions are named as Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat, and Lollipop.
Have you noticed the pattern of naming of the Android versions.?
Well, they are in alphabetical order and the next Android Version should begin with the letter M. We at least have a clue as to what letter Google will use to name the next flavor.
The current version of Android is Lollipop. But, prior to its launch it was being called Android L.
Android enthusiast and the Android developer community from all across the globe are speculating, what will be the new Android M called.

Google will try to offer or provide more support for inter-connectivity between various platforms.
It is expected that the Android M will bring massive changes in the Android’s interface like adopting Material Design which has already been implemented. It is expected that the new operating system – Android M will be different from its predecessor, and we should be ready to see refinement rather than a gee-whiz makeover.
